Universal Modbus IO Modules 

Novus Automation have a range of devices suitable for expanding existing control systems, gathering data or providing gateways between existing networks.

The DigiRail line includes basic RS485 modules which can convert hardwired signals to Modbus registers capable of being read on a simple 2 wire network. Reducing the wiring infrastructure and offering a simple solution for upgrading the number of channels available. This is often the most cost-effective solution where a small number of additional inputs or outputs are required. Novus DigiRail devices have been designed to integrate with Modbus RTU which is widely available on automation equipment regardless of manufacturer. 

DigiRail Connect modules offer a greater number of IO combinations and the added benefit of Ethernet communication. They are suitable for use as a Modbus RTU Slave or Modbus TCP Server. Their compact design allows for integration into confined spaces where traditional modules are difficult to install.

Modbus TCP to RTU Gateway this feature can be enabled in our DigiRail Connect and OEE modules. It offers a fast and simple method of communicating with RTU slaves via Modbus TCP. No mapping is required. Typically used between a Modbus TCP Master (such as a PLC) and Modbus RTU field devices (such as a meter supplied with RS485 terminals).
