Signal Conversion & Process Indication

We have a selection of devices for mounting on DIN rail or panel fascia. To find out more on signal conversion please read our support page.

TxRail is configurable via USB micro and free SigNow software. It converts standard temperature signals such as PT100 and thermocouple to a 4-20mA or 0-10V output. It also supports some less common signal types such as NTC and mV.

TxIsoRail can convert diverse analogue input signals to a standard output such as 4-20mA. It provides galvanic isolation between input and output. This device requires configuration using a TxConfig cable and free software.

TxIsoloop is available in two versions. TxIsoloop-1 is a loop powered signal isolator for 0-20mA and 4-20mA. It can help to eliminate ground loop interference in analogue signals where a potential voltage could occur between two or more earth points. TxIsoloop-2 can function in the same way as the one channel version but for two independent signals. Importantly, it can also be used as a signal splitter with one input and two outputs.

N1540-RT can be mounted on the fascia and accessed by operators to view input/output status. In this way it can act as both a Process Indicator and Signal Converter in one device by use of the retransmission facility.

A common requirement in control engineering is conversion of 0-10V analogue signal to 4-20mA. This can be achieved with either TxIsoRail or N1540-RT.
