TxIsoRail is a fully programmable isolated temperature transmitter, also suitable as a signal conditioner. It works with Pt100 and thermocouple industrial sensors, is DIN rail mounted, works with the vast majority of industrial temperature sensors, can also convert a 0-10V DC signal to 4-20mA, accepts the same input signal type it outputs (e.g. 4-20mA in, 4-20mA out), and is compatible with the new Novus SigNow software. Units can be easily user-configured for input type and working range using a TxConfig-USB interface cable connected to a PC USB port — or leave a note on your order with the configuration information and we'll ensure the device is set up correctly before despatch.

Why use isolated transmitters?

Isolated transmitters protect electrical instruments by eliminating ground loop effects and substantially reduce undesirable interferences and instabilities in sensor measurements. They can act as a barrier between expensive PLC input/output modules and field wiring.

TxIsoRail is a two-wire signal conditioning device that delivers 1000Vac isolation between input and output. It can be fully programmed by the end user for different industrial applications — one single model can be configured to accept several thermocouple types and Pt100 RTDs, as well as 0 to 50mV, 0-20mA and 4-20mA field signals. The flexibility of in-the-field configuration makes it a one-model-fits-all signal conditioning and isolator module.
