N20K48 is the latest innovation in PID process control. With Bluetooth as standard these unique devices can be configured to suit a range of applications. Simply add the optional docker and ClickNGo modules to build a bespoke controller tailored to your exact requirements.

In standard form the low profile CPU comes with a high quality LCD display, universal input and both SSR pulse and relay outputs.

Configuration is possible by Bluetooth, USB or keypad. With online monitoring and diagnosis capability via the free smartphone app for Android and Apple OS.

How To Use As An IoT PID Controller

The N20K48 is suitable for MQTT / Cloud applications. The additional WiFi module and antenna are essential. The WiFi module plugs into Module Slots 1-4 on the Docker.

It is important both the N20K48 and the WiFi module have the most current firmware updates applied. The MQTT parameters can then be set in QuickTune and downloaded to the controller via USB or Bluetooth.

The hardware is suitable for use with Generic MQTT Brokers as well as Novus Cloud.

How To Use As A Modbus Enabled PID Controller (RS485)

The N20K48 can be used as part of a serial (RS485) network. It functions as a Slave Device meaning registers can be read or written to by a Master such as a PLC. The RS485 module should be used for this application.
