How To Choose A Signal Tower Or Beacon

We have a range of options depending on your application. The points below may be helpful in finding the right device for you:

• Environment - where will the device be positioned and do you need to consider moisture and dust? We normally recommend a minimum of IP65 for any location where these factors are important
• Voltage - our products can be supplied in voltages to suit your electrical requirement. 24V DC is popular for PLC systems. We can offer 12-240V AC or DC with the majority of our signalling devices
• Physical Dimensions - if space is limited then we recommend the IF3 beacon as a low profile option. The IF5 range are a good choice if you want to combine a range of colours in a relatively small footprint
• Single Colour Functionality- what colours are you looking to display and do you require a buzzer? For single colour alarms we sell individual components such as the MBZ Series of LED Buzzers. Or as a high visibility option we can offer the IT Series which is a large dome shaped signal.
• Multicolour Functionality - If you need to switch between multiple colours depending on state then we recommend the IF3 and IF5 ranges. To display multiple colours simultaneously i.e. traffic light then we suggest the IF5T
