The EMAS P1164 is a ready-to-install wall-mounted alarm: a P series plastic control box fitted with a 90dB red LED sounder for 24V AC/DC. It arrives assembled, so there is no need to source a bare buzzer and enclosure separately, and easy-remove 20mm knockouts accept standard glands or conduit.
The sounder draws low current and can be wired directly to a 24V PLC output or alarm relay. EMAS indicators are simple to install and connect, and are built to withstand production environments at a competitive price.
Need 12V, 230V or IP65? The P1164 is EMAS's standard 24V assembly. For other voltages or washdown protection, build your own station from an EMAS PY Series control box and the 22mm sounder you need: MBZS012S (12V), MBZS220S (230V), or the IP65 85dB MBZS012SE, MBZS024SE and MBZS220SE.

Can I connect it directly to a PLC output?
Yes. The sounder is rated for 24V AC/DC and draws low current, so it can be driven directly from a 24V PLC output or alarm relay contact.
What cable entry does the box use?

Can I get a 12V, 230V or IP65 version?
The P1164 is the standard 24V assembly. For other voltages or IP65, fit the matching 22mm MBZS sounder into an EMAS PY Series control box. The IP65 sounders are 85dB because of their enhanced seal.
Is it suitable for outdoor or washdown areas?
No. The P1164 is IP50, suited to indoor plant rooms and panels. For wet areas, build an IP65 station with a PY Series box and an MBZS...SE sounder.
