Yes — this is the buzzer EMAS pairs with its Novus controller range, wired directly to the alarm relay's mains output.
Does this have an LED like the MBZS220S?
No — this is audible-only. If you want a combined audible/visual alarm at 230V, the MBZS220S adds an LED indicator.
Is this suitable for washdown or outdoor mounting?
It's IP50 rated (dust-protected, not water-jet rated), so it's best suited to indoor control panels rather than washdown or outdoor environments.
What's the difference between this and the 24V version?
This is the mains-voltage variant, suited to circuits already switching 230V AC directly. If your control circuit runs on 24V AC/DC, use the MBZX024SE version instead — note that one is also IP65 rated for washdown use, unlike this 230V version.
