DigiGate Profibus is the ideal equipment for interconnecting a Profibus DP network with a Modbus RTU network. It works as a gateway, operating as a master station in the Modbus network and as a slave station in the Profibus network.
According to its configuration, DigiGate reads the data of the other devices (slaves) on the Modbus network and sends the read values to the Profibus master. Likewise, it writes to the outputs of the Modbus slaves according to Profibus master requests, providing complete control of Modbus network devices through the Profibus network.
The device is fully configurable through the DigiConfig application for Windows, supplied with the product, making access and changes to its parameters straightforward.
