A ready-to-install differential temperature controller in a wall-mounted IP65 enclosure. It switches a pump, fan or valve when one temperature is warmer than another by a set amount, making it ideal for solar thermal hot water, pool solar heating, heat recovery and air destratification. Loads up to 16A / 3kW are switched directly. The enclosure is prewired and tested under load before despatch, and supplied with two NTC sensors.

The Novus controller is essential for reliable and accurate temperature regulation. As such it comes with the usual 3 year warranty. There is full technical support provided on the control panel. All other components are supplied with a 12 month warranty. The panel itself has a 12 month ‘Return To Base’ warranty. In the highly unlikely event it suffers from a technical malfunction we will repair or replace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which controller will be fitted?
We will contact you to confirm your application. The N321S suits most single-pump systems, the N322S adds a backup heating output, and the Ageon A108 is the budget option.
What settings should I use for solar hot water?
A common starting point is pump on at a 6-8°C difference and off at 2-4°C. Our Differential Temperature Controllers guide covers sensor positions, wiring and parameters in full.
Can it switch an immersion heater as backup?
With the N322S fitted, the second output can call for backup heat. As it is rated 3A, an immersion heater must be switched through a contactor, which we can build into the enclosure on request.
Can the sensor cables be extended?
Yes. Novus specifies sensor cable runs of up to 200m, so the collector sensor can be on the roof with the controller in a plant room.
