The Novus NP640 1/2 BSP (8801230100) is a 0-10 bar relative pressure transmitter with a 4-20mA two-wire output, built in 316 stainless steel with an oil-filled piezoresistive sensor for ±0.25% accuracy. It screws straight into a standard 1/2 BSP port and works from the box with the factory 0-10 bar range, or can be rescaled down to a third of full scale (0-3.3 bar) if you need better resolution on a lower-pressure process.
Typical uses include pressurised food and beverage lines, cooling water and compressed air networks, and checking booster pump performance.

Do I need to configure this before use?
No. It works straight from the box on its factory 0-10 bar range. Rescaling needs the TxConfig-USB-DIN43650 interface with free SigNow or TxConfig II software. Contact us if you need one.
What is the difference between this and the 1/4 NPT version?
This model has a 1/2 BSP thread and a 0-10 bar range for general industrial and water systems. The 1/4 NPT version covers 0-160 bar for hydraulics and high-pressure systems.
Can I add a local digital readout?
Yes. Our LoopView loop-powered indicator plugs onto the same DIN 43650 connector for a local reading.
What media can it measure?
Any gas or liquid compatible with 316 stainless steel, at medium temperatures from -20 to 100°C.
