Built for distributed assets, off-grid and mobile applications, it transmits data via cellular networks using standard SIM cards. Ideal for flow, pressure, temperature, level, and environmental monitoring. Supports MQTT protocol for Publisher/Subscriber modes and integrates with Novus Cloud or generic brokers for online data access.

In the event of a loss power the device can continue to record and transmit the values. Or, to prolong battery operation, the transmission can be paused until reconnection of the external supply.
LogBox Connect LTE includes built-in temperature sensing, battery and power supply monitoring. Features programmable PNP output and offers flexible 1-second to 12-hour recording intervals. Supports 10 configurable alarms with digital output, SMS, and MQTT triggers. MQTT and open-broker cloud compatible.

Q. Do I need a Cloud broker to use this device?
A. To view and download REMOTELY you need a Cloud broker. For LOCAL download via USB all that is required is a laptop or computer running NXperience software
Q. Do I need a special SIM card to use this device?
A. A standard micro SIM from any leading mobile provider can be placed into the SIM card slot. We recommend testing with a PAYG Data SIM at the proposed location to ensure connectivity. Once proven, a Mobile Data plan can be purchased from your network provider. A fixed IP SIM card is NOT required.
Q. Can I use the device purely on Battery supply?
A. The LogBox LTE contains a rechargeable battery. It can operate for limited periods on the internal battery (up to 80 hrs). The main power source is the external supply which can be 10-30VDC. It can operate from an external Battery bank as well as conventional DC power sources
Q. How much is a Novus Cloud subscription?
A. We recommend new users test with the STARTER package which is completely free of charge for one device and covers 180,000 records. The BASIC package has higher limits, covering more users and devices. The cost is £140.00 annually. For advanced users with multiple devices a CUSTOM plan is the most cost efficient.
Q. How easy is it to install and setup the device?
A. Initial configuration using NXperience is carried out using the built in USB port. This can typically take 30 minutes. Once the SIM card is operational a Cloud account can be registered with Novus Cloud. Overall it is realistic that the device can be wired and functional in 1-2 hours, with data visible on Novus Cloud.

Q. How do I add a device to Novus Cloud?
A. Once a new Cloud account has been registered, simply login using your browser and follow the steps to 'Create A New Device'. This will generate a token which should be copied and pasted into the relevant configuration software e.g. NXperience. Then download the updated configuration file to the device (containing the token).
