Why choose a key-reset e-stop over a standard turn-release?
The key reset means only someone holding a key can bring the machine back into operation after a stop — useful where you need to prevent unauthorised or premature resetting, e.g. during maintenance lockout.
How many keys come with it?
Two keys are supplied as standard (one spare), so you're not left without a backup if one is lost.
Can I expand this to a dual-channel safety circuit?
Yes — add an EMAS C2 normally-closed contact block for the second channel, or a C1 normally-open block for additional signalling (e.g. status indication on a PLC).
Is this suitable for washdown or harsh environments?
IP65-rated, so it's protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, with an operating range of -15°C to +80°C.
