MPN: C3CK

Adding contacts to an existing assembly is simple with EMAS. This spare part is suitable for many of the P Series control boxes, typically part numbers starting P1C or P1EC (emergency style). The C3CK simply clips into the rear of the box assembly, giving a solid mechanical fit that resists knocks and vibration, and at a low cost held in UK stock it's a straightforward way to expand a control box's function without replacing it.

It can be used to provide additional switching or signalling. Commonly fitted to create alternative switching arrangements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which control boxes is this compatible with?
It's designed for EMAS P Series control boxes — commonly part numbers starting with P1C, or P1EC for emergency-style boxes. Check your box's part number prefix before ordering.

Do I need any tools to fit it?
No — it clips into the rear of the box assembly without special tooling, giving a solid mechanical fit resistant to knocks.

What's the difference between C3CK and C4CK?
C3CK is normally-open (N.O.) — the contact closes when the control is actuated. C4CK is normally-closed (N.C.) — the contact opens when actuated. Use C3CK to add extra signalling or start functions, and C4CK for stop or safety-interlock functions.

Can I use this to build a custom switching arrangement?
Yes — it's commonly fitted to create alternative switching arrangements beyond the control box's standard contact configuration.

Industry Applications

  • Control box refurbishment — adding or restoring extra switching contacts on P Series control boxes
  • Machine control panels — expanding a control box to drive an additional PLC input or signal
  • Panel builders & OEMs — customising standard control box wiring for specific switching arrangements
