Compact and versatile PID controller for single loop applications. The N1030T (timer model) allows the process to run for an adjustable time period and switch off automatically — a single stage program, one setpoint and one heat/cool duration.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the Ceramic Probe supplied?
We stock 50mm, 100mm and 200mm probes. The 100mm and 200mm probes are the most popular sizes for larger kilns and the 50mm suits benchtop applications — check the thickness of your fire brick/insulation and contact us if you're unsure. We'll confirm the length required before shipping.
What does the wiring kit contain?
We pre-wire 2M of cable with markers/idents. This can be trimmed down to suit but makes connection a simple process.
What is the pre-programming option?
We can supply the controller ready to use with your own parameters pre-installed. We recommend this where a number of different ramp and soak programs may be required — we'll contact you before shipping to discuss the required profile.
Can this be used with a Kiln Sitter?
Yes — it's possible to completely replace the Kiln Sitter control, or use it in conjunction with a cone to act as a backup high-temperature shut-off.
What's the difference between this and the Multi Stage Kiln Bundle?
The Multi Stage Kiln Bundle contains the N1050 controller, which allows multiple ramp & soak profiles to be stored and recalled. The N1030T here operates on a single manual setpoint and is only capable of running for one adjustable time period — for example heat to 500°C and hold for one hour, then turn off.
