OPK Series Push In Connection Rail Terminal Blocks
Onka manufacture great value fully encapsulated DIN rail terminals. The OPK Series offer unrivalled performance in push fit cable termination. The triple-deck design stacks three independent 4.0mm² terminal levels in a single footprint — rated 32A (CE) per level — tripling connection density where panel space is at a premium.
- 3 x independent feed through levels, potentials not internally linked
- Save space on I/O applications, sensor and field wiring
- Perfect for PLC digital inputs i.e. Signal, 24V+, 0V DC
- No need to purchase additional end plates - terminal has an embedded end plate
- Terminals are symmetrical - does not matter which way around they are mounted
- Accepts solid conductors or crimped ferrules - lock into place without tools
- Save time and drive down costs with fast installation and simplified accessories
Suitable for:
- 35 x 7.5mm DIN Rail (Top Hat Rail)
- 35 x 15mm DIN Rail (Top Hat Rail)
- Matches Old Onka Part Number 1882
Simple Cross Connection Method
Cross connections or commoning can be achieved using simple push in bridges. The cross connector strips can be cut down to link the correct number of terminals. This terminal uses the 4.0mm 10-way cross connection bridge — run a separate bridge on each of the three levels, since they aren't internally linked.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the three levels?
They're independent feed-through circuits, not linked to each other — ideal for keeping signal, +24V and 0V DC separate on PLC digital inputs.
What cable size and rating does each level take?
4.0mm² conductors, 9mm strip length, rated 32A (CE) per level.
Do I need any tools to wire it?
No — it's a push-fit design, so conductors lock in without a screwdriver.
Can I bridge each level?
Yes, using the 4.0mm 10-way cross connection bridge — bridge each deck separately since the levels aren't linked.
How does this compare to the double-deck version?
Same section and current rating, but adds a third independent level for extra I/O density in the same rail footprint.
Industry Applications
- PLC digital I/O wiring — wire signal, +24V and 0V DC on stacked independent levels without extra rail length
- Sensor and field wiring — reduce rail space needed for multi-conductor field devices
- Panel space-constrained builds — triples terminal density in a single footprint
