OPK Series Push In Connection Rail Terminal Blocks

Onka manufacture great value fully encapsulated DIN rail terminals. The OPK Series offer unrivalled performance in push fit cable termination. The double-deck design stacks two independent 2.5mm² terminal levels in a single footprint — rated 24A (CE) / 16A (UL) per level — doubling connection density without extra rail space.

  • 2 x independent feed through levels, top and bottom not linked
  • Suitable for signal and common PLC I/O applications
  • Suitable for supply distribution applications i.e. 24V+ and 0V DC
  • No need to purchase additional end plates - terminal has an embedded end plate
  • Terminals are symmetrical - does not matter which way around they are mounted
  • Accepts solid conductors or crimped ferrules - lock into place without tools
  • Save time and drive down costs with fast installation and simplified accessories

Suitable for:

  • 35 x 7.5mm DIN Rail (Top Hat Rail)
  • 35 x 15mm DIN Rail (Top Hat Rail)
  • Matches Old Onka Part Number 1722

Simple Cross Connection Method

Cross connections or commoning can be achieved using simple push in bridges. The cross connector strips can be cut down to link the correct number of terminals. This 2.5mm terminal uses the 2.5mm 10-way cross connection bridge — run separate bridges on the top and bottom decks, since the two levels aren't internally linked.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the top and bottom levels?
They're independent circuits, not linked to each other — useful for keeping signal and common (or 24V+ and 0V DC) feeds separate in the same footprint.

What cable size and rating does each level take?
2.5mm² conductors (12AWG UL), 9mm strip length, rated 24A (CE) / 16A (UL) per level.

Do I need any tools to wire it?
No — it's a push-fit design, so conductors lock in without a screwdriver.

Can I bridge each level?
Yes, using the 2.5mm 10-way cross connection bridge — bridge each deck separately since the levels aren't linked.

Is this compatible with my existing Weidmuller or Wago terminals?
It's the same footprint and rating as the Weidmuller WDK 2.5 (screw connection) and Wago TopJob S 2202-2701 (push-in connection, like this one).

Industry Applications

  • PLC I/O wiring — keep signal and common feeds separate on stacked independent levels
  • Supply distribution — separate 24V+ and 0V DC on the same rail footprint
  • Panel space-constrained builds — doubles terminal density without extra DIN rail length
