The Temp-WM is an HVAC wall mount temperature transmitter with a low profile suited to BMS applications, offering fast installation on a simple 2-wire loop-powered connection and longer signal transmission distances than a raw sensor. Default scaling is -20°C (4mA) to 70°C (20mA), and calibration can be changed via the free SigNow application.

The Temp-WM transmitter incorporates a highly accurate and stable sensor for measuring temperature. The measured value is converted into a 4 to 20mA output signal linearly related to its reading. As it's microprocessor-based, it can be fully configured using the TxConfig-USB communication interface and the SigNow application, available for Android and Windows.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need external configuration hardware?
Yes — the TxConfig-USB interface connects the transmitter to a PC or Android device running the free SigNow application for configuration, since this transmitter doesn't have an onboard USB connector.

Can I reverse the output scaling?
Yes — the analogue output can be set as 4 to 20mA or 20 to 4mA, depending on your control system's expectations.

Is this suitable for outdoor use?
The housing is IP65 rated, but the sensor capsule is IP40 — check your installation location matches these ratings.

Industry Applications

  • BMS & HVAC — low-profile wall mount design suits building management system installations.
  • Long Cable Runs — 4-20mA loop signal resists noise better than a raw sensor over distance.
  • Room Temperature Monitoring — accurate, stable readings for space temperature control.
