Easy-remove 20mm knockouts accept standard glands or conduit, so wiring in is straightforward.

Why is 90dB only available on the IP50 variants?
The IP65 variants use an enhanced seal for washdown protection, which brings the volume down slightly to 85dB. Choose IP50 (90dB) for standard indoor use, or IP65 (85dB) where washdown or outdoor-adjacent protection matters more than the last few dB.
What cable entry does the box use?
Easy-remove 20mm knockouts, suitable for standard glands or conduit.
Can I get a different voltage or IP rating than what's listed?
Yes — any of EMAS's MB Series sounders can be fitted into this box; contact us for other voltage or IP combinations, with or without LED.
Is this suitable for outdoor installation?
The IP65 variants are protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, suitable for outdoor-adjacent mounting; the IP50 variants are better suited to indoor use.
