TxIsoLoop-2 can be used to split a single 4-20mA signal into two separate output channels.
Popular for PLC applications such as hardware upgrades / asset replacement where two control systems need to read the same 4-20mA input. The TxIsoLoop-2 allows for simple and cost effective 4-20mA signal splitting.
When duplicating one input signal into two outputs an external 24VDC power supply is required at terminals 3 and 7.

It can also function as two independent loop isolators. With the wiring configuration below no external power is required.

- Simple wiring for fast installation
- Output powered from the input loop
- High accuracy
- Galvanic isolation
- High reliability
TxIsoLoop-1 and TxIsoLoop-2 simplify your application and avoid undesirable ground loops by providing single and dual loop galvanic isolation. The 0/4-20 mA input is measured and an identical isolated signal is reproduced at the output. .
Recommended for electrical grids where the electric potential difference is a major risk, the TxIsoLoop galvanic isolator works on up to 2 isolated channels and eliminates ground loops, which ensures accuracy and signal safety.
This accessory, which is indispensable for industrial environments operates with a response time of only 2 ms.

Novus TxIsoloop-2 FAQs
Q. Does the device require external power?
A. In order to split one 4-20mA signal into two outputs then 24VDC is required. In standard isolation mode the device does not require external power.
Q. Are there any DIP switches to set?
A. No, this device is very simple to setup.
Q. How wide is the TxIsoloop-2?
A. The width is 18mm and depth when mounted to DIN Rail is 72mm
Q. Does the TxIsoloop-2 failsafe or provide any error signal?
A. In the event of an error the outputs will be zero (not 4mA). So you can distinguish between a low end signal and a genuine fault
