TxRail-USB is an ultra slimline DIN rail mount temperature transmitter or signal converter. It accepts a wide range of industrial signals and is fully configurable via a built-in USB port, using free and simple-to-use software from Novus. Terminal blocks are removable for ease of wiring and fast installation.
It allows selection and configuration of input type, measurement range, output type and calibration. The output can be set to either loop powered 4-20mA or 0-10V. Highly accurate and user-friendly, the TxRail-USB performs well from simple to sophisticated measurement applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extend transmission distance from a thermocouple?
Yes — converting a thermocouple signal to 4-20mA allows much longer transmission distances than a raw thermocouple signal.
Can this feed a standard PLC analogue input?
Yes — converting a Pt100 or thermocouple to 4-20mA or 0-10V gives compatibility with standard PLC analogue inputs.
Can it read a load cell?
Yes — it accepts a 0-100mV input, suitable for load cells, and converts it to a standard analogue signal.
Industry Applications
- Long Cable Runs — thermocouple to 4-20mA conversion resists noise over distance.
- Variable Speed Drive Control — linear speed control driven from a temperature input.
- Load Cell Measurement — converts a 0-100mV load cell signal to a standard analogue output.
