P Series Plastic 1 Hole CPDE72 + C3CK (NO)+ C4CK (NC) Yellow-Black Control Box
The P1EC304E72 comes with both a normally closed and normally open contact fitted as standard, rather than the single N.C. contact on the base P1C400E72 — a useful head start if your circuit needs both a safety-relay input and a separate status signal from the same button. Same large 72mm mushroom head for reliable palm/foot operation.
Emergency style yellow pushbutton station complete with red mushroom head. Highly visible and easy to operate with palm/foot. Emergency operation with latching/maintained position. Turn to release and reset the switch.
M20 knockouts for easy installation. Predrilled rear mounted holes which do not compromise the IP65 rating.
Includes as standard the versatile configuration - 1 x normally closed contact 1 x normally open contact. Contacts can be reconfigured by purchasing spares: C3CK (normally open) and C4CK (normally closed). Contacts clip to the rear of the mounting box to provide secure actuation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the benefit of having both N.O. and N.C. contacts fitted?
The N.C. contact typically drives the safety circuit, while the N.O. contact can signal "e-stop activated" status to a PLC or indicator lamp — both from a single button, without adding a separate contact block yourself.
How do I release the button once it's been pressed?
It latches on depression — turn the mushroom head to release it and restore the circuit.
Can I reconfigure or add further contacts?
Yes — additional C3CK (N.O.) and C4CK (N.C.) contact blocks are available separately if you need to expand beyond the standard configuration.
Is this suitable for outdoor or washdown installation?
Yes — IP65 rated, protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets.
Industry Applications
- Machine tools & production equipment — e-stop with combined safety and status signalling
- Panel builders & OEMs — pre-configured dual-contact e-stop station saving assembly time
- Safety-rated machine circuits — dual-contact stations feeding both safety relays and PLC status inputs
