Lightweight enclosure with a secure lid, gasket seal and high impact resistance — one size up from the WIB 8, with more internal clearance.

We recommend this size for electrical termination, cable extension, and mounting small power and automation components — good for adding sensors or making minor machinery modifications.
Can be used to house temperature controllers in different orientations. Narrow-depth PID controllers such as N1030T and N20K48 can be flush mounted into the lid. If the enclosure is fitted horizontally (lid at the top), 1/16 DIN PID controllers or digital thermostats such as N321 and N322 can be mounted in the sidewall.

Can I mount a controller in the lid and use the sidewall too?
Narrow-depth controllers like the N1030T flush-mount into the lid; if you instead fit the enclosure horizontally (lid at the top), the sidewall can take a 1/16 DIN controller or thermostat like the N321/N322 — check which orientation suits your installation before drilling.
What's the difference between this and the WIB 8?
A larger footprint (150x110x75mm vs 130x90x65mm) with more internal clearance, for slightly bigger components.
Is this suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — IP65 rated with an EPDM gasket seal and IK07/IK08 impact resistance, suitable for external wall mounting.
