The N1200-HC is a specialised controller capable of using two control outputs to heat and cool the process temperature. Standard temperature controllers only control in one direction — set to either heating or cooling — but the N1200-HC maintains a setpoint using a combination of both direct and reverse action, with dual PID for precise operation. Well suited to brewing and fermentation control, climate and environmental control, and machine or OEM process equipment requiring ramp and soak profiles with optional RS485 remote control.

This is Novus's premium PID controller, with a huge number of features making it one of the most powerful controllers on the market at this price range — backed by the standard 3 year Novus warranty and the option to configure with free software.

The N1200 process controller was designed for high performance control in the most demanding applications. Its advanced and consolidated Auto-Adaptive PID algorithm ensures fast and highly accurate response in very dynamic processes with complex profiles, and its fast sampling rate allows the PID control to actuate with great responsiveness. Advanced configuration of all parameters and fine tuning can be easily achieved via the USB port using the free NOVUS configuration software. Besides standard parameter settings, N1200 also performs customised ramp and soak temperature profiles by programming up to 20 user-configured recipes or up to 180 segments.
