A103PID-U is a humidity and temperature controller with 3 outputs — a TRIAC output with PID control (proportional, derivative and integrative) for heating, a relay output for humidity, and an auxiliary relay output for temperature or a cyclic timer. The main temperature output connects through a TRIAC with PID control, which is more precise than a conventional on/off relay system since it varies the voltage level to the heating element according to ambient temperature, avoiding overshoot. It's supplied complete with a probe and mounting bracket, so there's no need to purchase a sensor separately. The built-in TRIAC connects directly to heaters under 400W with no SSR required, and for higher wattage heaters an AC input SSR can be wired to terminals 1 and 7. The A103 PID-U is also compatible with ArcSys, Ageon's online monitoring system.
It's well suited to HVAC humidity maintenance, incubators for egg hatching, dry-ageing meat maturators, food industry processes like bread proving, and reptile housing where a single point of control for heat and humidity is useful.

Technical Details
Timer Function — the cyclic timer can control a motor, fan, or lighting, for example: 60 min OFF (L6 = 60 minutes), 2 mins 30 secs ON (L5 = 150 seconds), Repeat Cycle (L3 = 2, to set cyclic timer mode). OFF time is settable from 1 to 999 minutes; ON time from 1 to 999 seconds.
Humidification / Dehumidification — default settings are for humidification (adds moisture to maintain RH setpoint; relay closes below setpoint). To switch to dehumidification, enter configuration mode and change parameter U3 to 0 (relay closes above setpoint).
