The WebFi module can be used to add connectivity to any of our Ageon Black Line temperature and humidity controllers — A102, A103, A103 PID U, A104, A106, and A108 — as well as other Ageon controllers with a USB communication port. This device requires no external power supply; it simply plugs into the controller's USB port and can then be configured via Bluetooth. After initial configuration, the WebFi module remains connected to a local wireless network.
The main advantage of the WebFi module is that it provides access to Ageon's cloud-based service known as ArcSys. This service is free for the basic package, which offers an impressive range of features. By adding the WebFi module and connecting to ArcSys, you can perform the following operations at no cost via your web browser: monitor live operation including output status, read measured temperatures and humidity, view all current parameters and setpoints, perform data logging at 5 minute intervals, and produce a PDF report of time-stamped data.
Paid packages for ArcSys are available at modest cost and allow remote setting of parameters, amongst other added features. Please contact us if you'd like to discuss upgrading — we recommend first testing with the free package by creating an account at arcsys.cloud/login.
Each device requires its own WebFi module, so if you have multiple controllers requiring web access you'll need a corresponding WebFi module for each one.
