KNHT Control Panel Thermostat — Heating (1 x N.C.)

Economical control of heating within the control cabinet. Normally closed contacts operate when the temperature has been reached to remove power from the heater. Rated 10A at 230VAC, suited to direct wiring of panel heaters without an intermediate contactor.

Heaters up to 10A resistive load can be wired directly through the thermostat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does N.C. mean and how does it work?
Normally Closed — the contact opens (removing power) once the setpoint is reached, switching the heater off.

What load can I switch directly?
Up to 10A resistive at 230VAC — no separate contactor needed for typical panel heaters.

Do I need a separate thermostat for cooling?
Not necessarily — pair with the KNVT cooling thermostat for independent cooling control, or use the KNHVT double thermostat for heating and cooling in one unit.

How is it wired?
2-pole terminal, 0.75-1.5mm² cable, mounts to 35mm DIN rail.

Industry Applications

  • Control panel climate control — prevents condensation and cold-related component failure in heated enclosures
  • OEM machine builders — simple bi-metal thermostat control without a PLC
  • Outdoor/unheated building enclosures — maintains a minimum internal temperature
