How is the setpoint adjusted?
Via a simple rotary dial on the unit — no programming or digital interface needed.

Does the contact open or close when the target temperature is reached?
It's normally closed (N.C.) and opens at setpoint — this breaks the heating circuit once the panel has warmed to temperature, then closes again as it cools, cycling the heater automatically.
