Adding contacts to an existing assembly is simple with EMAS — the C2 clips into place with no special tooling required, and at just over £3, held in UK stock, it's a genuinely low-cost way to add a safety channel or auxiliary stop signal without replacing the whole switch. We use these ourselves for dual-channel e-stop wiring on our own panel builds.
Compatible with our full range of CP and CM series switches, including popular models like the CP200E and CM200E.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which switches is this compatible with?
It's designed to clip onto EMAS's CP and CM series pushbuttons, selectors, e-stops, and joysticks — the same 22mm control unit range used throughout the CP product line.
Do I need any tools to fit it?
No — it clips into place on the back of the switch body without special tooling.
What's the difference between C1 and C2?
C2 is normally-closed (N.C.) — the contact opens when the switch is actuated. Our C1 is normally-open (N.O.) — the contact closes when actuated. Use C2 for stop or safety-interlock functions, and C1 for start functions or extra signalling.
Can I use this to add a second channel to my e-stop circuit?
Yes — a C2 block is the standard way to add a second N.C. contact to an EMAS e-stop for dual-channel safety relay wiring.
Industry Applications
- Machine safety circuits — adding a second N.C. channel to an emergency stop for dual-channel safety relays
- Motor control circuits — adding auxiliary stop signalling to an existing switch
- Panel refurbishment & repair — replacing worn contact blocks on existing EMAS CP/CM series switches
