Check the rated current of your load and add headroom for safety margin — for higher current loads see our 25A, 40A, or 60A models.
Will this work with a non-Novus controller?
Yes — this is a universal DC-controlled SSR, triggered by any 3-32VDC signal within its input range. It's not limited to Novus controllers and works equally well with other brand temperature controllers, PLCs, and process controllers.
Does this need a heatsink?
At lower currents a heatsink is less critical than on higher-amperage models, but for continuous duty cycles one is still recommended.
