Novus N1200 HC - Heating & Cooling Controller For Fermentation Control
The Novus N1200 HC is a specialised controller capable of maintaining precise temperature. This is a proven device in brewing and fermentation control as can be seen below in this UK installation:
N1200 HC was selected for this application as it was able to control temperature setpoint using 2 outputs - one for cooling and one for heating. In this way it is possible to react quickly to changes in the process temperature.
Conventional temperature controllers typically work in one direction only. So in order to reduce process temperature in a heating application it is necessary to wait for natural cooling to take place or install some secondary control. With N1200 HC it is possible to set multiple heating and cooling stages with long segment times.
The N1200 HC performs the work of more than one device and is fully programmable from the keypad or using free Novus QuickTune software.
