Single And Three Phase Solid State Relays (SSRs)

Both Novus and EMAS have an economical range of solid state relays. We stock single and three phase AC output versions in a range of Amperages. Our SSRs can be purchased with or without an accompanying heat sink.

Our 4~32VDC control versions are suitable for switching via temperature controller pulse output, PLC or any control voltage within range.

Where Are Solid State Relays (SSRs) Used?

• Food And Beverage Coffee Machines - brew temperatures. Brewing and Fermenting - alcohol production. Food - commercial baking ovens and hot plates

SSRs are used in many applications where a small control signal is used to switch a larger load current like a heater element. Unlike traditional relays and contactors, they do not suffer from mechanical wear and can be switched multiple times per second.

Beware lower priced alternatives. There are ultra low priced SSRs available in various online marketplaces. Some have been found to contain missing or underrated components leading to premature failure and excess build up of heat.
