Easy Cloud Based Data Logging For Temperature Control
New WebFi Module Transforms Ageon Temperature Controllers
We have just tested the new Ageon WebFi module and are extremely impressed with it's ability to log data to the free cloud based service ArcSys. The WebFi module can connect to WiFi networks (up to 3 supported). Allowing wireless data transmission from the controller to the cloud.
Our Black Line controllers are popular for use as Digital Thermostats, Differential Controllers and Combined Temperature and Humidity Controllers. These devices are simple to install but can become powerful loggers by adding the Gateway which plugs into a USB Port on the side of the controller.
As a proof of process we installed an A103-PID U controller and connected this to the ArcSys service. The WebFi device then allowed us to view the device remotely and begin to build a record of not only the Temperature and Humidity but also the other system variables and status of the outputs.
It is worth pointing out that the basic ArcSys service is completely free. With inexpensive options for more advanced users. We can already see that the free service will more than meet the needs of users looking for a simple historic log.
