Frequently Asked Questions
What does the potentiometer output give me that a normal foot switch doesn't?
A proportional signal - useful for ramping speed, feed rate, or other variable parameters with foot pressure, rather than a fixed on/off state.
Does it still switch a normal contact as well?
Yes - alongside the 10k Ohm potentiometer output, it carries a 1CO switched contact for a simple start/stop signal at the same time.
Is it protected against accidental knocks?
Yes - it has the same protective guard bar as our standard PDK foot switches.
