Collection: Stud Terminals For DIN Rail

Onka stud terminal blocks are built for the jobs standard DIN rail terminals can't handle: high-current power distribution where a screw or push-fit connection simply isn't rated for the load. Each size in this range clips onto standard 35mm DIN rail and terminates a large cross-sectional-area (CSA) cable through a threaded stud connection — M6 through to M12 depending on size — giving a mechanically secure joint that a conventional terminal can't match.

The range runs from 25mm² (101A) up to 240mm² (415A), all rated to 1000V, so there's a size to suit most industrial DC and AC power runs. Because both sides carry an independent hinged cover, each terminal stays fully insulated even mid-installation, and the bolted connection is far less prone to loosening under vibration than a screw terminal — a real factor in rail, mobile, and marine applications as well as static panels subject to thermal cycling.

Typical uses include:

  • Photovoltaic (PV) installations — high-current DC strings and combiner boxes
  • Battery and inverter connections — where standard terminals aren't rated for the current
  • Rail, marine and mobile plant — vibration-resistant terminations for high-vibration environments
  • Industrial distribution panels — main incomer and busbar tap-off points carrying large CSA cable

All terminals are sold individually and are fully encapsulated in PA6.6 housings with copper bridge contacts, rated for continuous use from -40°C to +140°C.
