The EMAS IF5P024XM05-1 is a compact 55mm signal beacon that shows five status colours from a single lens (white, red, blue, yellow and green), with no buzzer. It is the silent version of our best-selling IF5P024ZM05-1, for machines where an audible alarm is not wanted or is already provided elsewhere. It fits a standard 22mm hole, the same as a pushbutton, and each colour is switched directly from a 24V DC PNP PLC output with no interposing relays.
Beacon or tower? The IF5P changes the colour of one dome rather than lighting separate tiers, so it fits where a 3 to 5 tier tower won't. If you need several colours lit at the same time, choose the EMAS IF5T 3-level light tower.

What is the difference between this and the IF5P024ZM05-1?
The two are the same 55mm, 5-colour, 24V DC PNP beacon. The IF5P024XM05-1 has no buzzer and draws 1.0W; the IF5P024ZM05-1 adds a 90dB buzzer. Choose this one where a sounder isn't needed or would be a nuisance, such as a quiet lab or a line that already has a central alarm.
Is this a stack light tower?
No. It is a single dome that changes colour depending on which wire is energised, so only one colour shows at a time. If you need two or three colours visible at once, choose the IF5T 3-level tower.
Which colour should I use for which machine state?
IEC 60204-1 assigns red to emergency, yellow to abnormal conditions, green to normal running and blue to mandatory action. White has no assigned meaning, so it is often used for "machine on" or "operator call".
Will it work with an NPN (sinking) PLC output or a 24V AC supply?
No. This version is 24V DC PNP (sourcing). For a 24V AC or DC supply with colours selected by volt-free contacts, choose the IF5M024ZM05-1; for mains, choose the IF5M220ZM05-1.
How is it mounted?
It fits a standard 22mm hole and is secured with an M22 nut, so it can go on any enclosure lid or machine guard you can punch for a pushbutton. For wall or post mounting, add the IKAD22 adjustable bracket and the IFAB03 pipe adaptor.
