The EMAS A54B1S11 is the illuminated yellow version of EMAS's IP65 double-pole rocker switch. A bellows seal keeps washdown and dust out, both poles isolate fully in the off position, and fast-on crimp or solder connections make it a quick swap in appliance and OEM repairs. Yellow is often used for auxiliary circuits such as heaters, lights or pumps, keeping them visually distinct from the main power switch.
It replaces common appliance rocker switches on catering, lab and workshop equipment from brands such as Lincat, Electrolux, Omron, Bulgin, Numatic and Hoover. Check the 30x22mm cut-out and 16A rating match your existing switch before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does DPST and 2NO mean?
DPST (double pole, single throw) means both poles switch together, so live and neutral are both isolated when off. 2NO refers to the two normally open contacts that close when the switch is turned on.
Is it suitable for wet or washdown areas?
Yes. The bellows seal gives IP65 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, which suits catering equipment and areas that are cleaned down.
Is this the same switch as the other A54 colours?
Yes. It shares the body, IP65 seal, 16A rating and 30x22mm cut-out with the red A54B1K11 and green A54B1Y11. Only the rocker colour differs, so colours can be mixed on one panel.
Do I need to solder the connections?
No. It accepts standard 6.3x0.8mm fast-on crimp terminals, though solder connections also work.
Industry Applications
- Catering equipment — auxiliary switching for heaters, lights and pumps on equipment that is cleaned down.
- Lab & workshop equipment — secondary circuit switching that is visually distinct from main power.
- Control panels — lit on/off switching for ancillary loads such as panel heaters or lighting.
